The wait is over. After years of pushbacks, rumors, and heresay, the reported first single from Dr. Dre's mythicthird album Detox has finally surfaced. This doesn't seem to be the final version of the song - there is no hook, and the vocals aren't mixed properly - but this leak defintiely gives us a sense of the direction Dre is going in. The track, based on a sample of Kraftwerk's "Trans-Europe Express", has a futuristic electro vibe, which is a big change from the G-funk that Dre made his name on. That said, Jay-Z definitely brought his A-game to this track. The hype and antitipation for Detox has been ridiculous for years now, and while this track may not live up to that hype it's great to have Dre back.
